Best Scripture Verses

Today I am going to post my favorite verse(s) from the passages I have read for the past 2 weeks which should also be applied to our lives today.

Galatians
1v10 Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God?
2v11 When Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.
3v28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
4v15 What has happened to all your joy?
5v16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
6v9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Ephesians
1v4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.
2v10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
3v12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
4v2 Be completely humble and gentle: be patient, bearing with one another in love.
5v7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.....

Philippians
1v27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ......
2v3 Do nothing out of vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Titus
1v16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
2v11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.
3v10 Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him.

Hey Nash. I like Gal 1v10 and Titus 1v16.
Actions can deter a lot of people. Especially when non-Christians see Christians behaving just like there. They are are not leading by example.

Jon, Those 2 verses are closely related. Gal 1v10 might deal with those of us who start trying to please others instead of doing what God would have us do. Titus 1v16 could be the hypocrit Christian who losely tells others they are a Christian, yet nobody could tell!
